Wanborough Junior Football Club was established in 2004 to provide football for the sons and daughters of village residents but has since expanded to include players from most parts of Swindon who enjoy the 'football for all' ethos of our club.
We are an FA Charter Standard Club with over 150 players in age groups from U6 to U17/18.
Our club is supported by a fantastic range of qualified coaches with both FA Level 1 & 2 at present as well as a continuing professional development programme encouraged for all coaches.
We pride ourselves on being a development club and our emphasis is firmly on the positive aspects of developing players - many join us never having played for other clubs and enjoy both the physical training but also the teamwork which leads to happy groups of players.
Our teams enjoy social events within the club including our annual Swindon Town Match Day where abut 150 players and parents visit the County Ground to enjoy a 'behind the scenes tour, professional training session and then lunch before watching Swindon Town's home match.
